I attended the international bazaar last Wednesday at HUC Great Hall. Several tables were set up for the different countries represented. The continent of Asia was well represented and some displays were more informative than others. The Thailand exhibit was my favorite mainly because it offered goods for sale, jewelry and clothing, but also offered information about the region such as the types of foods eaten and other interesting information. My second favorite was the Peruvian exhibit. This was full of beautiful wooden wares from jewelry boxes to spoons of all sizes. The atmosphere reminded me of a flea market or craft show. I was expecting more information from each region tho.
